Does École Bilingue Chardin offer yoga to the children in preschool?
From the age of 3, children learn to master their movements, test their balance and improve their dexterity. This is why, in addition to the other sports activities we offer, École Bilingue Chardin offers Yoga in preschool. We practice it during quiet times, usually after lunch.
Do children practice sports activities?
As soon as a child knows how to play, he/she can practice a sport. What is important is not so much the sport itself but the regular practice of a physical activity. Playing sports at school promotes healthy and balanced growth in children. At Ecole Bilingue Chardin, your children regularly participate in a sport activity adapted to their age.
Are children involved in artistic activities?
École Bilingue Chardin is named after the painter Jean Siméon Chardin, considered to be one of the greatest painters of the 18th century. The name of the street, like that of the establishment, symbolizes the major importance of art and aesthetics in the establishment's educational program.
We are convinced that education in the arts leads to greater academic and social success. "Learning experiences in the arts benefit students socially, emotionally, and academically.” By working on instilling perseverance and a sense of community, an arts education also trains citizens to be more involved in their communities.
What extracurricular activities does École Bilingue Chardin offer during the vacations?
DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
École Bilingue Chardin offers kindergarten and primary school children one-hour after-school workshops, based on the activities that make up its DNA: Arts and Sports. They can also focus on general culture or history. These workshops are available in French or English.
DURING THE HOLIDAYS
Our private bilingual school offers bilingual courses on cultural, artistic and sporting themes, primarily to children from the school, but also to other kindergarten and primary school children from outside the school. We call on the services of qualified outside contributors, in particular our partner Musée en Herbe. Located in the heart of Paris, we offer an ideal setting for fun and educational activities, with outings around Paris organized throughout the year with our teachers. Cultural outings are designed to provide children with educational experiences outside the traditional school environment.
